Pitlochry Town has great restaurants, bars and shops to keep visitors to the area entertained regardless of length of stay. Pitlochry Highland Nights give visitors to Pitlochry the opportunity to experience proper Scottish music and dance, Heathergems make beautiful Scottish jewellery and are well worth a visit, furthermore if you are looking for something different to do, Explore Chocolate offer chocolate making classes, and I can personally verify the chocolate they produce is of a very high standard!

For those yearning for some culture. Pitlochry Festival Theatre is also only a short walk away and boasts incredible shows throughout most of the year. Running alongside the theatre is the river Tummel which cascades from the Pitlochry Hydro-electric dam and fish ladder. There is a visitor centre for those wanting to learn more about the dam, or Loch Faskally is there for those simply looking for a picturesque walk.

If one walk is not enough, the Birks of Aberfeldy or Falls of Bruar offer some stunning scenery and are accessible to even the most novice of hikers. Alongside the Falls of Bruar you can also find the House of Bruar, a shopping experience for all things country-life. Hosting incredible clothing shops, food hall, whisky shop and restaurants. It is well worth a visit rain or shine.

If fishing is more your thing, Pitlochry has you covered. Just down the road from Dunfallandy House is the river Tummel where guests can book permits to fish salmon from the Milton of Fonab Caravan Park. Likewise the Pitlochry Angling Club have many other fishing opportunities, visitor permits can be booked online.

A little further afield, in Blair Atholl, you could also visit Blair Castle and gardens, an amazing historic day out, and guests of Dunfallandy House get discounted prices.
